Stamp’in Ups Lovely as a Tree stamp has been a good investment. I have used these trees quite a bit. This one particular tree that I used this time, I had not used at all until very recently. I really enjoy seeing how other people use their stamps because it helps my creativity flow.
I started by stamping this tree onto a white piece of card stock with several different greens and then coloring the trunk with some pencils. I used my Spellbinders Distressed Edge die to cut out my image and you guessed it, I sponged the sky and hills while in the die cut. I popped this up with foam tape onto SU Old Olive paper and adhered that to a card base. ( I think this was 4¼x5½, I might have trimmed a bit) I them cut out and adhered my happy die (double layered) and stamped birthday straight onto the card. Then I used my wood grain stamp onto some SU Chocolate Chip paper (5×7 ?) and adhered the card to this base. Using my Creative Memories corner punch, I punched the bottom of the opening of the card.
I really love the way this card turned out. Hopefully my father-in-law will like it too ☺
