Art Impressions has this great stamp called Girlfriends, it comes with three different sentiments. The first one says “I laughed so hard I had tears running down my legs”, “It’s exhausting being this hilarious I don’t know how we do it”, and “Forget two peas in a pod we’re more like two nuts in a tree”.
I stamped these friends in Memento black ink so that I could use Copics to color them. I paper pierced their pants with some scraps of paper I had. It took me a little while to figure out what to do with these girls but I thought this paper with all the inspirations words would be a great background. Using a Spellbinder scallop die to cut the outside and an oval die to cut the inside I created a focal point for these friends. However the inside oval was not big enough and would have cut off the one fiends bun. To fix this I only cut around part of her bun and adhered it on top of the oval die cut.
